Looking for stock satina antique white paint
Mitch replied to Mainecoons's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
I don't think you will find stock color as you describe. The color code should be written on your can after they custom mix. happyjillin is right about the Comex store on Madero. -
Any new rules leaving GDL to U.S and beyond??
Mitch replied to Wefferr2's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
The unvaccinated are not more likely to contract Covid, they are more likely to become more seriously ill. Also when the unvaccinated get Covid they do not shed the virus any more than a vaccinated individual. -
Today at Intercam we rolled over a 3 mo. investment to 18 mo. Cede paying 6% ( before taxes ) This will pay interest monthly to our checking acct.
-
We have been with Intercam for several years and really value the good service. We recently asked our acct. manager to raise our atm withdrawl amount from 5K to 8K. What we did not know is 8K is available to everyone at the ATM now at Intercam.

Here are the contacts I have 376-766-5563 justynji@hotmail.com My guess is they have an outbreak of Covid. This is a very busy office with lots of patients 5 days/week. I just finished therapy about two weeks ago with her group and I'm very impressed.

We ate here last night around 5:30. No other customers during our stay. The grounds and building are amazing. We both ordered hamburgers and wine. The burgers looked and tasted like they came from Walmart. This was not good beef. House red. 90 p. house white, 80 p. Our bill was 513 P.

Thursday night we dined here and the food and service were excellent! They are located at the corner of Macos Castellano and Zaragoza. Look for the white building with bright green awnings. Atmosphere is very nice. You can enter on both streets but for those having trouble with stairs you can enter on Zaragoza. Closed on Monday. I believe they open at 1pm. They also have a pizza oven like Laurie's old place, Charlotte's on the Libramiento.
-
They also have an entrance on Zaragoza with no steps.

Phil, could you explain in more detail what was involved in your test beyond just a smog test? Thanks

An absolute MUST RIDE is the "Devil's Backbone " ride from Mazatlan to Durango. Search and watch the many videos about this great motorcycle road.

Our gardener just took it up the Libramiento on his motorcycle a few clicks and released it. Tom and Honeybee I like your humor. Thanks all.

I was attempting to catch and relocate a very troublesome squirrel but last night we trapped a skunk! I have heard that the Bomberos will pick up and relocate critters. Any phone numbers or suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks

Product similar to STA-BIL Small Engine Treatment
Mitch replied to InChapala1's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
The product that Inhapala1 is looking for is Sta-Bil , most often used in small engines, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and cars, motorcycles, etc when a car, etc is stored for longer periods of time because with Ethanol blends in gas it causes old gas to form varnish deposits that are very harmful to cars and small engines. Looking at Rislone offerings they don't offer this type of product. -
Need referral to an auto import broker.
Mitch replied to Eric Blair's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Azucena Bateman Campos is a local attorney at law and well respected. Azucena also does this kind of work. She quoted us around $3,100. US, as I recall on a 2009 Honda Accord. This was about 3 years ago. She has broker contacts at the border. 376-766-1654. You must drive the car to the broker at the border. -

I can not speak to Jalisco fraccionamiento law but I do have the "Jalisco Condo Law in English", second edition that shows both the Condo law in Spanish and English side by side. I also have The "Jalisco Condo Manual". I have lived in a condo here in Lake Chapala for over eight years and I can tell you talking to a realtor and most lawyers here will get you many opinions, almost all wrong, but not the Jalisco Condo law. Any condo or fracc by-law can't exceed or counter the Jalisco Condo law. This fact is ignored on a regular basis locally!
-
One of the differences between a condo and a fracc is the streets in a fracc are owned by the city ( but the city does not maintain them ) Condo streets are owned by the condo. Legally a fracc can't gate their entrance.

SunFan, Does this association also include local Condo's? Mitch

Recently found a new micro brewery in W. Ajijic and they serve food. Cerveceria Maltas 8. They have been open for about 2 months. It's difficult to find so I will do my best with directions. Coming from the east go just past the big 4 story retirement project La Pueblita ( mtn. side ) which is west of La Reserva. When you go west of La Pueblita a bit, look for the very first road going South. This will put you on the lateral road. Turn back east to the first street where you turn right or south. (This street has no name ) In a very short distance Cerveceria 8 Maltas will be on your right. You will see a drive way leading back to the rest., don't take it, no parking. You must park on the street. Closed on Mon. Tue. and Wed. cell 332-173-2331
