  1. We have Telmex fiber optic. We pay for 200 Mbps, just tested received 292.7 download, 51.6 upload. On my laptop which is old and not built to receive over 100 Mbps, test just showed 94.84 download, 83.99 upload.
  2. The repairman we use and is excellent is Roberto at Satellie Electronics, phone 33.10.63.56.33 email:robertronics77@gmail.com. He is in San Antonio on the carreterra.
  3. I ordered a product in December, finally arrived three months later. Had tracking number that tracked to Mexico City from the Netherlands, then tracking number offered no more information for several months. Tracking information once again reappeared early March after clearing customers and arrived at my home a week later. Just takes patience and time.

Quoting Senoir D, "You may love it or you may not but they deserve a chance to serve you , give them a shot . Remember , if you don't like something doesn't mean it's wrong , just not necessarily for you." Quoting Computer Guy, "lectures me on how I should think about it, and how I should give them a chance, and how everyone is different. In my mid-60s now, I think I've figured that part of life out" Sounds like to me Computer Guy you may have it all figured out in your mid 60's but might want to re-read what Senoir D wrote in his comment. I do not see where he LECTURED anyone. Just gave a nice write up about a place he ate today and wanted to let people know his thoughts and impression, PERIOD. Might you be having a bad day, can't read, comprehend or what? You should apologize for your rude remarks.
  5. The Lake Chapala Garden Club meets the third Wednesday of every month, never on a Monday. Wednesday, June 19th is the date. There are several garden clubs in the area. Might want to check with your friend and confirm correct garden club.
  6. We just renewed our passports Wednesday at the American Legion. Very simple, Banamex no problem and did not have to go into Guadalajara Embassy. Renewing both mine and my husbands passports, only required one check totaling two renewal fees, did not have to pay for two separate checks. Have been to the embassy several times before for other reasons not an easy adventure, i.e. parking, time, waiting even with appointment, etc. The personnel at the embassy very helpful via emails and telephone. Personal checks are not accepted at either location. The following links explain everything. https://mx.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/guadalajara/lake-chapalaajijic-services/ https://mx.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passport-services/
