  1. Mine also. The heater when I moved in was nada so I bought a Cinsa on demand. No hot water half the time and ate batteries. We tried making it better to no avail. My sister was having the same issues down the road and replacement was a Kalotron with a small tank. I was so impressed I bought one. It is great. Easy to maintain and I did not notice a big jump in gas consumption. It is pilot light controlled and has a small tank which is fired when water flows pressurized or not. It is reliable and will keep up a full blast hot for 15-20 minutes. (really full blast) Mercado Libre is your friend to buy one. https://www.kalotron.com.mx/index.php
  2. For those patients of this fine and caring dentist who was once at Dental Express, then Dentistree, this is to inform you he is now working from a small clinic on the mountainside carretera in central Ajijic 2 doors west of Colon. His cell/whatsapp - 998 198 6316.
  3. In case this has any bearing, I entered with a temporary visa, (almost a party at Vancouver consulate welcoming me) was allowed plenty of time beyond 6 months to ship my stuff, never used any help and easily got my permanent residence 4-5 years later. Winston - yes - good man
  4. Thankfully, there is a lot of different research being done on energy-battery storage, from enormous batteries made from plastic to the use of a variety of microorganisms which store and even create energy. There may be a future with homes made from plastic which are the storage devices, supplemented by microbial consortia - roofs made of solar panels with small wind turbines along the peak and small water turbines in the downspout. https://www.sciencefriday.com/segments/plastic-battery-grid-storage/ https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/energy/a39753157/living-bacteria-battery/ https://new.nsf.gov/news/batteries-made-bacteria https://techfinder.stanford.edu/technology/microbial-batteries-produce-energy-wastewater-and-other-organic-matter https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/researchers-use-algae-to-power-computer-for-months-180980100/ Innovations in cars will follow, we hope. Jets; I dunno.
  5. So reading not your strong suit - okay.
  6. LOL? I'm not tied up at all in all that propagandized political BS. People who are duped talk about things like; show me the rising oceans; whatabout the oceanside estates?; whatabout Greta? Bla bla. This instead of observing changes in wildlife due to temperature changes, long record heat waves, results of deforestation, etc. PS. I'll bet NEWMtnmama does not have any great leaders
  7. For sure! It wasn't really that hot. Of course the jets are huge contributors, maybe even the biggest but are those jetting back and forth to NOB and Mexico and elsewhere as much to blame?
  8. Gee, that would require careful analysis but I was just going by chronological.
  9. Diverticulosis is easily detected by scan. Diverticulitis is the inflammation of the 'pouches'.
  10. https://www.chopo.com.mx/jalisco/colonoscopia-virtual
  11. I've had 2 virtual colonoscopies - in Canada. It is a CT scan which reveals much more than a colonoscopy. It also shows up any organ lesions or abnormalities. At Chopo in GDL the cost is 3K pesos compared to 12K pesos for a colonoscopy lakeside. There is a large discount for paying online. This is 2023, not 1968.
  12. Am I missing it or did they neglect to put their location on their website?
  13. The only reason I know the property is through almost acquiring it. The assertion that they need a large covered dining and recreation area is genuine, along with more sleeping area. The accommodations would be cramped with 18 to 25 boys. There is a main apartment with one bedroom, kitchen and largish living/dining area; attached on the outside is a laundry room, there is a storage and solar battery area about 10x10 or 12 ft, then entrance to covered parking, then 2 other smaller apartments; I'm pretty sure each with a bathroom. The whole place had good plumbing as well as waterlines to water plants and animals. On the roof were 16 solar panels and gas tank.
  14. Please correct me if I'm incorrect but is this not the group which recently got the property and house north of Santa Cruz? If so this is a lovely property of around 1800 sq m with a well installed solar system, large propane tank, kitchen and kitchenette, laundry room, 2 or 3 bathrooms with showers; water service with several tinacos. They may have needs like new appliances but some of what is reported sounds exaggerated.
  15. Related - Of interest? https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0223523419306361
  16. That little copy office is where I made my appointment also to register my built utility trailer. It was relatively easy. On the day of the appointment, when we discovered my RFC# was inaccurate, a correct one was issued by the copy office.
  17. When registering a built trailer, I tried repeatedly to make the appointment online. It just did not work (for me) so had to go to Chapala, make the appointment and return 2 weeks later to do the registration.
  18. I have been trying to make the annual vehicle payments through the Jalisco adeudos webpage https://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/serviciosVehiculares/adeudos? My problem is discovering what they are requesting with 'engine number' 'numero motor' I have entered the VIN/serial number and I'm at a loss for what they mean. It is especially puzzling regarding this requirement for my utility trailer, which obviously has no motor. Can anyone who has successfully accomplished this please shed some light as to what/where the engine number is?
