  1. Martin Jorge Arturo Barba in Guadalajara and Dr. Mendoza who is at Centro Hierro.  He is reached through his excellent, native English speaking concierge, Lori Payne at 331 313 7963 or lori.my medicalconcierge@gmail.com.  My foot problems are very complex due to previously failed total ankle replacement.  I found both these doctors knowledgeable about the subject but not a lot of experience with my rather rare problem.  Good people to talk to.  By the way, I have a used knee scooter that I found much easier to get around with than crutches, should you have surgery.  Will give good price.

  2. Here in Raquet Club, many people did not receive bills this month, so a last minute sprint to the office was necessary. My landlord's caretaker usually presents me with the $1000+ bill the day it's due.  This two month period was more than double and I was astonished--wow I guess light use of electric heaters really does add up! I turned off all exterior lights and the fan upstairs.  Later I closely examined the bill and I was not credited with the last bill's payment even though I have a stamped receipt.  The caretaker explained in colorful sign language that the CFE office was a total mess right now.  I hope Dough's problems relate to CFE's current issues and not power theft.

  3. I'd just pay it and work out the mistakes once the office opens.  I just tried the two numbers above and with calling it just hangs up, with What's App I get a message saying "messages to this chat and calls are now secured with end-to-end encryption which means Whats App and third parties can't read or listen to them".  Great, online app also won't take my payment.  Wonder what they expect us to do, or whether they will be lenient until they decide to open some form of communication?

  4. Tijuana-GDL and vice versa is my regular route to U.S.  My flight two weeks ago was cancelled  and when I went to look for a subsequent flight they were blocked into November.  That doesn't mean they aren't flying tomorrow--that was two weeks ago.  I believe if you are ticketed you can buy a Xborder Xpress ticket which allows you to enter the TJ airport via a pedestrian bridge and leave the same way when you return.  This avoids contact in hard hit Tijuana and is the easiest, quickest way across the international border.

The mountains are deserted  as are the rest of the places I walk...how is it O K to go to Walmart with a hundred people or more , yet to get exercise for a couple of hour’s  (solo ) everyday which is  at present allowed in most  countries.. that’s  what builds up your immune system  duh..! . The two cops that stopped me this morning were sat less than two feet apart without masks . imagine.. ?  Don’t worry about my plaque my lifestyle takes care of that.. I would  imagine most of your plaque is in your ### ...see you in the mountains....probably not it’s far easier to type

I agree with you Ian, about being outside while practicing safe social distancing, is not considered dangerous by most of the pundits I've read but the governor of Jalisco's mandate includes closing all pools, parks, beaches, trails.  I am physically suffering from not being able to get in the pool for non weight bearing exercise, I live in Raquet Club and in my opinion, the pool could easily be safely used and provide us shut ins with some mental health time.  I read that the trails are for the most part so narrow and steep that safe social distancing isn't possible but it's possible that it's for the Semana Santa shrine visits.  I feel your pain....

Someone suggested they are seasonal, when the rains come they leave for the rest of the year.  Then they come back in Jan? Just trying to zero in on a month so I can schedule this project.

I did not have bats here in November, December or January.  They hit my hummingbird feeders when they around and they are around now.
