  1. I applied this April in Chapala, was granted a three year policy, and paid nothing.
  2. Yes. Go to Chapala. I went this year with my sole surname and papers. The kind lady had me out in 15 minutes.
  3. The CURP printouts do not have the area on it to laminate into a card anymore.
  4. JoaquĆn is back inside the Chapala market. He just does not offer vegetables or fruit like before. He has a large supply of cheeses and I tried his cheddar. I find it better than what I could find in WalMart. It melts well and has some flavor. Have him cut you off a try.
  5. MOD's don't whine. Others carry on a conversation, both free and fast.
  6. I didn't mean cheap Mexican house paint aka whitewash. How long would it take to paint? Twenty minutes tops.
  7. Too much work! Paint it with cheap house paint or if you want to get fancy, coat it with Rust Reformer and then paint it.
  8. My point is that one should have a colonoscopy first for screening because many need those polyps removed. Your calling that barbaric is hysterical.
  9. The colonoscopy is done as a first line diagnosis tool because polyps are not only visualized, they can be removed to prevent them from becoming cancerous.
  10. I got my INAPAM card in Chapala recently. The lady was very accommodating and helpful. No muss or fuss, in and out in 20 minutes.
  11. You can buy your INAPAM ticket in advance like the others did. I have never seen the places available without space limited availability, bus or air.
  12. My recently granted permanente card has the CURP number they assigned me on it. Nobody gave me an option. I am grateful for their help.
  13. When the medical care facility doesn't get the cash in advance, I doubt that document would be needed.
  14. If you don't have a money safe that is rated at least TL-30 (you don't), NOB is best. Short of that, a hiding place. See this link for suggestions: https://www.nachi.org/hide-valuables.htm
  15. As an ex employee of Mosler Safe Co., I warn you about what is sold as a safe. Most "safes" are safe from fire. In the wall or free standing, they are very easy to "peel" the door. They are known as Records Safes. If you ever watched the series on buying storage units at auction you would have seen how quickly the new owners opened them. The doors are thick, but thick with fire insulation. Many user would put the combination on them so the burglar would not destroy it, but it usually had records and petty cash. A money safe has at least 1/2 steel walls and door. You would most likely not find them here at an affordable price and they must be transported by experienced people. The best defense is to not keep valuables in your home.
  16. Curry is as a definitive word as mole is in Mexico.
  17. Google Map SAT and it shows the food court not being in SAT. https://www.google.com.mx/maps/place/San+Antonio+Tlayacapan,+45900+Ajijic,+Jal./@20.2972828,-103.2437412,16.75z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x842f41365d0a28c5:0x7e87c840da0b430!8m2!3d20.2929811!4d-103.2389353?hl=es
