  1. My knowledge of both geography and language is excellent. Please note I used the word "transport" in my sentence. That includes land, air, or any other mode of transport. Canada can use any mode of transportation to move illegal immigrants from the U.S.'s southern border to Canada. It would alleviate the problem there, and Canada will have an opportunity to show it's generosity.
  2. Canada welcomes immigrants but only well qualified one's need apply. Canada to welcome up to 390,000 in 2022. https://www.cicnews.com/2020/03/canada-to-welcome-up-to-390000-immigrants-in-2022-0313872.html#gs.174tin What about illegal immigrants? Like the one's the U.S. is taking in at it's southern border. Send some transport down there and help out. Take them up north to make Canada their home and help them out with your wonderful social welfare programs.
  3. Next time, when you you have a moment, check out how much foreign aid is given by the U.S. government, not just to Mexico but also other countries. Also how much aid is given by American charitable foundations to foreign countries.
  4. AstraZeneca has been approved for use in the U.K. and some other European countries. The U.S. has it's own approval process. Here is an article from the Smithsonian Magazine: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/revised-astrazeneca-data-show-its-covid-19-vaccine-76-percent-effective-180977356/ Since the U.S. has contracted sufficient doses of Covid vaccines from Moderna, BioNTech, and Johnson & Johnson for it's own population, it is shipping excess doses of AstraZeneca to other countries including Canada and Mexico. There is nothing nefarious about this decision.
  5. You'll have to ask that question to the Chinese.
  6. I'm so glad Canada is going to be producing it's own vaccines. I hope that it will show it's generosity to the rest of the world by sharing with them, especially countries like India and Brazil. While you're at it Canada should send some transportation to the Mexican/US border where there are so many people suffering. They are cold, hungry, and many suffering from Covid. I would hate for these people to die of starvation, Covid or suffer from any abuse. Canada should welcome them with open arms.
  7. Perhaps it's because Canada is such a non entity that it's existence has been forgotten.
  8. That's because the potential invader knows that the U.S. has Canada's back.
  9. My dear Virgo Lady, you can call me all the names that you want. It doesn't change anything. I recall Canada's buy "local dairy" campaign in 2018. You should persuade the Canadian government to to stop importing everything from the U.S. Go through the letters of the alphabet and stop using all American products from Amazon to Zoom. Stop using American pharmaceuticals. And don't sell one thing to the U.S. That will show 'em. Get Canada to increase it's defense budget to protect the country. That way you won't have to depend on your generous southern neighbor. Canada should become completely independent and punish the U.S. economically by using nothing that comes from that country.
  10. Yes, the U.S. is shipping vaccines to both Mexico and Canada, the U.S.’s southern and northern neighbors.
  11. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/17/biden-to-say-us-will-send-20-million-pfizer-moderna-or-jj-vaccine-doses-abroad-by-end-of-june.html Combined with the new shipments, the Biden administration aims to send a total of 80 million doses abroad within the next six weeks. That figure amounts to five times more vaccine shared by the U.S. than by any other country so far, according to a senior administration official.
  12. I would not be so presumptuous to tell Whipstock, you, or anyone else on this board as to what to do. These are Whipstock's own words "I too am done with responding to you." I am not telling him what to do. I'm only quoting him.
  13. I'm only pointing out that Canada should do it's fair share. I'm not at all grumpy. I am pointing out what Canada is not doing. And you're done because you can't hold a valid argument.
  14. Yes, let him start sharing Canadian vaccines with the rest of the world. Start practicing what you preach. It's easy to spend other people's money. Also let Canada start contributing it's fair share to NATO. Instead of contributing only 1% of it's GDP, start contributing the 2% that they signed up for. Also, Canada should increase it's defense budget to protect itself instead of relying on it's southern neighbor. I remember Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, crying in his beer that if country did that, they would not be able to support it's healthcare and social welfare programs at the current level.
  15. "Trump" "Trump who?" Old news. Do you realize the U.S.'s current president is Joe Biden. It is Biden's current policy that wants the U.S. to be given priority. What is wrong with that policy? And, by the way, has Canada not been purchasing vaccines? If not, why not?
  16. Yes, I agree. They should charge every one the same rate rather than create pricing inequality, except for poor nations who genuinely need to be subsidized or get free medication.
  17. I'm glad you have a generous spirit. That is just what I would do, and the U.S. government is doing just that by allowing pharmaceutical companies to only charge for the vaccines, and not the underlying research. I'm sure they will be sending vaccines, at very subsidized rates to under developed countries. The U.S. also has charitable foundations e.g. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation who I'm sure will do the right thing. I am glad that the American people have a generous spirit.
  18. I am very well informed on this topic and that Bernie Sander organized a bus trip for Americans to purchase insulin in Canada. What you in your ignorance have failed to mention that it is the U.S. drug companies that are selling insulin to Canada at a lower rate than to the U.S. This is because, unfortunately, the Canadian government is negotiating a lower rate for the insulin. The U.S. government should be doing the same for it's citizens and residents, instead of letting U.S. companies subsidize lower drug prices to developed countries like Canada. I can understand subsidizing under developed countries but not developed countries.
  19. Just another person who can't continue a reasonable argument, and put a valid argument forward to support their statement. By the way, the U.S. souther border is allowing a lot of Covid infected people to slip through. Watch the news regarding how the number of illegal immigrants has exploded. How many Covid infected immigrants have entered Canada?
  20. Can a U.S. citizen go to Canada and receive free insulin? The U.S. and German government have been very generous by charging Canada only for the vaccines and not the underlying research.
  21. Why do you think I'm ignorant of the fact the BioNtech received money from the German government to develop the vaccine, and partnered with Pfizer to mass produce it? How much money has the Canadian government spent on developing the vaccine that they should get first dibs? Canada has vaccines available now, so my question is why Canadians are not returning to their home country for their vaccines? Just a simple question!
  22. What does this have to do with Canadians not returning to their home country for their vaccines? The U.S. has spent an enormous amount of it’s taxpayer dollars to develop the vaccine under ‘WarpSpeed”. The vaccines are available for sale to Canada. They’ve got them now, don’t they? So what is the real complaint? I find it Biden’s policy to satisfy U.S. needs first, then everyone else’s reasonable. Don’t you take care of yourself and your family needs first before anyone else? Would you let your own children go hungry in order to feed your neighbor’s?
