Another expat myth about someone tapping into your line..  it is very difficult to do with it being seen.  
Don’t bother turning off the main breaker.  First of all gather some information, you could start by posting do information on here.  How much is your CFE bill,  ?  Has it just suddenly gone up ? How many in the home. ? Do you have A/C ?  Do you have a fridge and a separate freezer ? 
check the  serial number on the bill to make sure it’s the same as the meter. Start making a note of the meter readings, do it before you go to bed and in the morning, over night there should be very little usage..  After you have gathered some reference information then you can start troubleshooting.

These guys are low level dealers they don’t cause any trouble, they are friendly enough..  as long as they don’t cause problems they should be left alone. Not harassed by some entitled expat who has doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on. 

Some people just don’t have a clue what goes on here.

For the 16years that I’ve been here the corner of Aldama & Constitution has been one of the places dealers hang out.. They are not homeless they are dealers.. the van is there so they can conduct their business away from the prying eyes of nosy interfering gringos,  the dog is there to keep nosy gringos away…

I believe it came into effect on August 1st this year.

The Scotia ATM has been giving 1000 peso notes for close to a year now.. 

I think they great,  when I get propane it’s always over a thousand peso, I always ask for a thousand peso when I put gas in my car…

B.S …… They dispensed with the form at GDL approximately 12 months ago, they were not required coming or going.. last July my passport was stamped flying out of GDL. And no form was required flying into GDL in August ,

The last time I was at the Jocotepec malacon there was sewage flowing into the lake, , if fact just about every time I’ve been there sewage has been flowing into the lake.

I believe it’s the same rate in all ATM’s , the only difference is the fees you are charged…

Transit police have been removing license plates from out of state  vehicles for the  last 16yrs that I know of.  The police in SLP were really bad for bad for that. 
When I used to drive a vehicle with NOB plates I made a colored photo copy of my plates, when you put a plastic plate cover over them you can’t tell that they are paper unless you look closely at them.. They look good enough to get you home..

Typical comments from entitled expats, the police do their job and you bitch, they don’t do their job and you bitch.. you have to scream “Discrimination”       I got a ticket because I’m an entitled expat, not because I parked in a handicap space with no permit…

He committed an offense and got what he deserved…

I have used Cristy for many years, she is the only one i trust for early morning trips to the airport..

Maybe you should trying going to the airport sometime, with the construction work going at the parking garage  it’s a zoo there, difficult to find a parking spot.,  stopping to pick some up  is a hassle..  

Much easier cheaper and faster to get an airport taxi.

A private driver the same price as an airport taxi..  And faster… mmmmm. ? Please post their name and contact information…I have never waited more than a few minutes,  but then I usually arrive around 8am..

This is why you have to be very careful about what you read on web boards, some people just don’t have a clue..  it’s not hard to understand, but obviously some still don’t understand it…, Visa & MC Set the rate.

It’s been that way every Easter for the last 16 years.. except during the Covid19 years..

You can do it in Guadalajara, I always do it in Guadalajara, many do it there as well because it’s much easier than Mexico City especially if you have a short layover…

You still need to go to INM at the airport just like before but you don’t need to fill out the form, just show your passport and temporal or permanent card and they will stamp your passport with the exit date.. 

The best and fastest route is San Luis Potosí, Matehuala Saltillo, Monterrey cross at Colombia, the booth to get your TIP back is very easy to find, As you drive through the complex you will see a small white building on your left, there is an area to pull off the road in front of the building, that is where you return your TIP.

After you exit the US customs head north on the 225 it will take you to I-35

or you can go right on the 1472 which will take you into Laredo, as you enter Laredo there are lots of hotels right along I-35. I usually stay at the Days Inn which just about the first motel you come across.

Ishops has many different size box’s..

Temporary or Permanent visa.  RFC Number. And I think a CURP number which will be on your visa. You need copies of all documents..
