You’re oversimplifying this situation. Were there EKG confirmation of an MI? There are many other conditions that can mimic an MI. Did you have other health problems that could be aggravated by stk? Bleeding disorder? Ulcers?, etc. Surgical history, etc. you cannot expect an EMT to take your suggestions at that moment unless he’s experienced and able to take the responsibilitiy. even in hospitals stk is given under strict monitoring conditions. theres always doctors that like to play the “wouldav, shouldav” game, but the same thing could have happened in Houston or some outlying area in good old USA
