A little science about those face masks

Well an internet search of the mentioned website returns many hits indicating, at best, a sketchy source. But good for you to a least do a search, many don't, and simply believe whats before them. I'm not a scientist, either, rather gather my information from many sources, and make an informed decision, as far as fauci, how many times has he waffled on masking, first it was two weeks to flatten the curve, now, after you get the shot, wear two masks, because one is not enough. When will he waffle again, for needing a third shot? -

Media Bias/Fact Check as an amateur attempt at categorizing media bias and Van Zandt as an "armchair media analyst."[2] The Poynter Institute notes, "Media Bias/Fact Check is a widely cited source for news stories and even studies about misinformation, despite the fact that its method is in no way scientific."[4] Alexandra Kitty, in a 2018 book on journalism, described MBFC as an apparent "amateur/civic outfit" and wrote that its founder's only qualification was a degree in communications. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_Bias/Fact_Check The key words "armchair media analyst" -

The link in the OP's first post, is a known hoax website, the clue is the .gov at the end. A little tip, any website that ends in .gov, generally is unsafe for solid information, hell even Fruadci says to use 2 masks. I'm from the government, and am here to help and protect you. -
Looks good, low airframe/engine time, overhauled in my old home town, reputable shop

Go read up on IMEI blocking for example: https://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2020/02/28/no-more-illegal-phones-indonesia-to-impose-imei-control-regulation-on-april-18.html the governments already have the capabilities to prevent, why add another unenforceable law -
Some of you will declare it as "fake news", because its not "main stream" https://www.huffpost.com/entry/coronavirus-vaccine-anti-vaxxers-hesitancy_l_605cb070c5b65d1c281350e0

Padre, forgive me, I have cited UNAPPROVED sources, with whom the masses do not agree, please allow me to "follow those who do not question"

So Pedro, why respond, wasting bandwidth, again, just like you, a waste of bandwidth

some of you will declare this to be a "fake news" site https://www.newsweek.com/texas-covid-cases-drop-record-low-nearly-three-weeks-after-mask-mandate-lifted-1579484 here's another "fake news" site, was: Updated March 31, 2021, 2:32 P.M. On the contrary, a 50% decrease has been reported after omitting face masks."

Such a bunch of hypoclorites, if you don't agree, its fake news. I suggest to the "fake news" crowd, go use your favorite search engine. you can repost here, or not. Some of you need to relearn reading, writing and COMPREHENSION, replying to something NOT attributed to you, qualifies as not comprehending.

"If masks were of such importance due to this infectious virus, where are the hazmat containers to discard all these masks?" Did you not read that?

https://www.webmd.com/lung/qa/should-paper-masks-be-reusedwashed-and-if-so-how-often KEY PHRASE"For proper use, paper masks should not be reused or washed."
-
https://www.webmd.com/lung/how-long-covid-19-lives-on-surfaces Fabrics Examples: clothes, linens There’s not much research about how long the virus lives on fabric, but it’s probably not as long as on hard surfaces. The KEY phrase"not much research"

yes, kinda toying with the idea of a 3d printer, just not sure at this point. Whats the development for a one off part, no STL available, the need for CAD, send to what?, then print? I currently have need for a lid to the electrical box, for the pool, I stepped on it, it broke, needless to say, like herding cats. thanks

Been tinkering with stuff for more years than I care to recall. Built a wood router cnc, computer controlled, mostly scrounged parts, a piece of garage door acme thread for driving, tapped pieces of UHMW, for the drive nuts, was three axis, stepper motor driven, CAD to gcode, I had fun with that, it was about 20x30 inches,5 inch height, usable, space. Another project, converted a Jet lathe from AC, to DC drive, made it so much better to work, reach over and dial in the required speed, rather than stopping, change belt locations, and restart. I'm a tinker, trying to make it better.

My idea for the pi and camera was for a security camera, the camera has removable night vision, and that is what I needed printed, a mount board for the camera module. Because it was not the correct mount, I ordered a dummy camera from amazon, just big enough to house the pi and camera module, but no night vision. The case is large enough to house the pi, camera and a battery pack, works very well.

No, I didn't, I used another method. Thanks

ok, I'll jump in, head first. If your looking to print 3D,locally, advertise, advertise. I was looking for a part, fairly specific to raspberrypi cams, thought I had found the specific part and SEEMED to describe what I wanted, ordered, and paid thru OXXO, it was printed in Guadalajara, delivered via estafeta, within four days, the price was reasonable, and the shipping fair, sadly, the camera did not fit the printing, there where numerous errors within the printing instructions, or the camera was a different model, I'm unsure at this point. If you are able to provide some form of SPECIFIC specifications as to what is being printed, tolerances allowed, and probably, the SPECIFIC ITEM, with drawings, or links to drawings, your in for a bumpy ride. I wish you the best of skill, knowledge, and planning, some would wish you luck, but thats what the three deal with.

Does anyone have a source for sodium hypochlorite, pool chlorine. I have searched 5 stores from Ajijic to Riberas, nothing. I prefer liquid cholrine with no additives, and clorox is only 5-6 %, pool chlorine is 12% Thanks
