  1. I don't see the post I just typed, so I am retyping and posting. Apologies if it is shown twice. I am asking La Pueblita to post prices on this forum and their website. There is really no reason to not do so. If the prices are not shown because they want prospects to come out first, then that logic is flawed, because if the price is too high, it is a waste of everyone's time. No matter how beautiful, etc. it may be, cost is a determining factor. Also, don't forget to mention that there is a percentage of price increase yearly. I did go visit there, however, did not save my cost and price increase information. I personally felt it was too costly. Others may have a different opinion.
  2. That doesn't work for everyone, even "going the extra mile." I have gone the extra mile, as you say, in helping someone, and still, I experienced a theft from that person. I don't want this thread to change topics to discuss theft. I only mention this because, although your experience, was a God sent, not everyone is that fortunate with care giver.
  3. I had him here about a week ago. I know sometimes people are unreliable at answering their phones. This is the number I have, which is probably what you have. 33.3661.2193.
  4. Please list your current prices here. You should not have a problem doing this, along with the price increases yearly.
  5. Also, I want to add a comment. People say that to me all the time about restaurants. $180 for a meal they say is not expensive. It is expensive for Mexico. It is not much for the US, but we don't live there, so it is irrelevant.
  6. I agree. Why compare the cost to another country. We don't live in the US, so we need to compare to the cost here. Otherwise, for that matter, you could compare to prices in Nicaragua and other places, but irrelevant.......
  7. To me, that is irrelevant. Expensive can mean a person cannot afford it, but not necessarily. I could afford it, yet I think it is too expensive for what you get. Also, the rent is increased yearly by a percentage. Yes. It is less than the US, but expensive for Mexico. And....still a lot of money for a place you are only renting.
  8. Conceptually, it is a good idea. Problems I see are getting people to agree on location, conversion and all that is involved in such a project. Certainly, it would be less expensive.
  9. Thank you Chillin. I did not know that. I did drive to QC's office as it was the only way to get in touch. They are aware of all the phone issues, even with the cell phones......
  10. This is really a lot of trouble. I have called those numbers many times today and no answer. It's good that they work for you, but obviously no consistency.
  11. Thank you for your reply. I finally was able to reach someone at one of the cell numbers. The clerk did say the land lines don't work. It seems to me they should be removed from their contact information on their site as I (and probably others) who don't know that keep calling and wasting our time.
  12. I have been caling 376.766.1870 for this doctor. No one answers the phone. How to reach his office to make an appointment?
  13. I am not a lawyer, but did look into that and this is what I learned. US has no jurisdiction in Mexico and vice versa, so US assets go into US Trust and Mexican assets handled with Mexican Will. I don't know anything about Mexican trusts, do not now if there is any benefit to creating this entity. Suggest you get Notario advice for Mexican assets.
  14. $30 X 12 = $360 USD. I am thinking this is the cost of one flight. Great if you don't care.
  15. Overpaying means creating inflation and higher prices for everyone.
  16. What a great way to get interest free loans. None of the airline policies are for the benefit of the consumer. Imagine if we could just book a flight, fly, then pay afterwards. How would that work for them? They use our money. We should use theirs. What a concept.
  17. Yes. Thank you for fine tuning that. That is exactly what I need to do and have done in the past. This time, I totally forgot this residency issue when I completed the reservation form. Since they are crooks, there is no other way to handle this.
  18. I don't think anyone is moderating as the rules for personal attacks are never enforced. This was a simple request I made and it turned into people criticizing and insulting each other. Why????Why is this not stopped????
  19. Correct. I said nothing about killing anything, only trimming.
  20. It is called a "non-resident" fee not a "non-citizen" fee.
  21. Rick, Maybe that is true or not. Are you a Permanent Resident? If so, and you are filling our their reservation form, it asks your citizenship. What then happens, automatically, is that they are charging a Tourist Tax on each entry into Mexico. This is illegal. We are not tourists and are exempt from this tax. Even their Call Center does not know this. I made the mistake of completing the form and putting in my correct citizenship. Years ago, my travel agent said the only way to fix this is to type is that you are Mexican. Instead of creating a field on their form asking for the Residency Information, they just take the money. It's about 30 USD on each trip.
  22. That's the most creative idea yet!!!
  23. Anyone have the e-mail address for Volaris Customer Service? It is almost impossible to find and I know why. It is the worse airline ever.
