  1. What do you mean "away from local bank"? The local bank does "not convert the exchange rate". That is done by Visa or Mastercard using an ATM, where you get the top rate. Much better than XE.
  2. Some people reply without ever reading what they are replying to. Tells a lot about them, no?
  3. And you use Capital One, just like MC?
  4. Use only an ATM at a local bank, never from a business. Security is too loose.
  5. Thank you so very much. Would you mind sending me a PM when you know the cost and also what your husband thinks of them when he has used them.
  6. Anyone had ear molds made at Costco or other places locally for hearing aids? Any idea of cost and time? TIA.
  7. Be sure you have the title in your name (the US Title). If not, you have to prove the car belongs to you to get a title in your name before you can register it there.

"Careful and public scrutiny of the evolving data will be needed to assure that decisions about boosting are informed by reliable science more than by politics," authors wrote, adding in part: "Widespread boosting should be undertaken only if there is clear evidence that it is appropriate." The comments come after Dr. Janet Woodcock, acting commissioner of the FDA, and Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, recently advised the White House that regulators need more time to review necessary data before approving a COVID-19 booster shot plan.
  9. Gotta get that jab at the Us , don't you? What an a&&.
  10. Don't you ever get tired of asking the same question here. No one here can answer that for you. Why don't you ask a Mod or the Adm in a DM? Is that simple or too simple?
  11. Yep, they need that Mexican phone number to send you codes. They will not use a foreign phone number. Citibanamex has been easy to work with. Need a utility bill in your name.

After all, I could hang out with other people from the United States in my own country; why would I want to do so here? Plus, my goal was to learn Spanish, and I wasn’t going to do it by just spending my time with people who spoke my language. I approached this, however, assuming that Mexicans’ attitudes toward friendship and their relationships with friends were much the same as those in the U.S. They are not, and it’s caused me to do quite a bit of reflection on the differences between the two.
  13. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article253439134.html Immunocompromised people can now get a 3rd COVID vaccine shot. Here’s what to know

An additional 835 COVID-19 fatalities were reported Tuesday, increasing the August total to 18,420, or an average of 594 deaths per day. The official death toll stands at 259,326, a figure the government has accepted is a significant undercount.
  15. For those of you who were concerned for the Gov. : Texas Gov. Greg Abbott tests negative for COVID-19 four days after positive test The governor credited his vaccination for keeping his infection "brief and mild" and encouraged others to consider getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
  16. No, no third shot. You been watching that nbc crap too much. He took the "cocktail", the Tamiflu of this virus. Hasn't any fear of anything. Why do I waste my time on dense people. Bye !
  17. Actually, Abbott is running the State from his Mansion and is not missing a beat. Sorry, he is not "scared" and is doing excellent. No symptoms. Thanks for his concern !
