How much are they?

Does anyone know if a 2017 Honda Fit Hit made in Mexico would have had nitrogen instead of air in the tires?
-
Safe from physical harm from bad players, not from seaworthiness of the ferry itself. My son wanted to cross into Mexico from AZ in his van a few years back, and the border agent told him to stay out of that area, that it was way too dangerous to take the ferry. He would not even allow him into Mexico, told him to enter through CA. This time he's on a motorcycle.

Does anyone know if it is safe to cross there to get to La Paz in the Baja? A few years ago it was definitely not. How about safety in Los Mochis ?

I will be flying in and using my Permanente Visa. However, I will be driving out using the Columbia Bridge. Where do I turn in my Permanente Visa paperwork? I don't want to my permanente status? Thank you for your h elp.

This is a 2017 Hoda Fit Hit. Can the odometer be reset to show miles instead of kilometers? Miles are shown at about every 10 mile interval on the spedometer, but I want to have accuracy down to the tenth of a mile. Thank you for your replies and thank you all for all the replies regarding Mexican plates in the US. I really liked the suggestion of a US dealer plate holder or even an NFL or NLB team! Go Cards! Go Chiefs! Go Blues!

If dry ice is available Lakeside, please tell me where. Thank you!

Is there something to turn in or some form to fill out at the border, or does one just drive on through?

You do NOT have to let them come into your house! I worked as a Census Bureau Field Rep, and I was more than happy to use my laptop and get the answers I needed while sitting on the back patio or standing at the front door.

To renew a driver's license, I think you need your CURP. My CURP is printed on my driver's license, but will I also need the piece of paper, which I originally copied off the internet (which they say is the original but looks like all the copies)? If I need that piece of paper, can I go online and get a copy? If so, what's the web address? Thanks to anyone who helps me with this. Oh, and is Ocotlan still doing license renewals?

Is anyone headed to Laredo this month or March? I would like to caravan with someone. My dates are flexible. I just need to have time to fly from the US and get my Mexican driver's license renewed and see a few friends. I would consider a passenger instead.

Thank you both--Ferret and Ibarra! I hope Hugh is OK and just taking a break

I'd like to call or email Hugh. The USA# 512-298-7357 says it's not accepting calls, and the 331-364-7839 has been changed or not in svc. Is he still in business? I've changed emails and totally lost track of him. Thank you.

where to get a therapeutic massage locally
Earl replied to blankletmusic's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Lili who comes to Hotel Perico on weekends. She's was an ortho surgeon and studied therapeutic massage for 7 years. She's awesome--the best of the several I've tried at Lakeside. For first appointment, call Tom at Hotel Perico, or if you speak Spanish, call her at 331-262-0724 -
Do you really need to show up 3 hours ahead of time at the airport for a 6AM American Airlines flight? Would 2 hrs be enough? Have any of you actually needed the 3 hours to get through the lines?

Lady GP in Ajijic -- below Ajijic Clinic?
Earl replied to Natasha's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Dra Jessica Flores, 331 050 4287. Walk or drive past the new ATT store and Alex's Pasta Bar (across the side street from Plaza Bougambilias), take a right and walk or drive less than half a block to white, wrought iron bars and go in. There are no signs for her office, but it's the 3rd, I think, glass door on the left. She is very good. -
Amen to Dr Jessica Flores. She listens carefully to all you say, and is a very good diagnostician as well. She fixed issues for me that had been ongoing for years....in just 2 visits with lab work in between those visits.

I need to talk to someone/anyone who volunteers there. Do any of you have a contact # for anyone connected with Todo Bueno bazar in Riberas?

The scent was very potent to the point that it made me nauseated. If the bag is sealed as it should be, then no musty or other odors or insects should be able to get in. I would hope that unscented would at least be available. The ubiquitous manzana (?) scented toilet tissue and facial tissue also are repugnant to me, so maybe it's just me. I'm learning to be much more careful before inadvertently making purchases of scented stuff.

I have seen and purchased those storage bags that you suck the air out of. Walmart had them a few months ago, but ALL were heavily lavender scented. They were awful INMHO. Mexicans seem to love their scented stuff, it seems to me.
