  1. Before you do anything drastic - uninstall the Background Apps & Processes app and reinstall. There have been issues and this seems to resolve it.
  2. I use this app on my Nvidia Shield. If you press the "System User" tab it should toggle between system apps and your currently running non-system apps.
  3. Looking for someone who can diagnose and repair On Demand Water Heater. Thanks

    Tzatziki

Trying to find fresh dill. Any ideas? TIA
  5. We use UnDosTres. Very simple. Set up an account and use your Canadian or U.S credit card. UnDosTres - Recargas en línea Telcel, Movistar, AT&T, Unefon, Virgin, Bait, TeleVía, PASE, Boletos de Cine, Pagos CFE
  6. We have Ilox. When it occasionally goes down, I use my phone as a hotspot. We are fairly close to a cell tower, so my download speeds are about 50-60 Mbps down with Telcel. If you run out of data, you can purchase unlimited data for 2 hours. 15 pesos.
  7. Just get a couple of solid IPTV providers for about $10 US a month. The channel selection on USTVNOW360 is horrible. Or if you want something legal: La evolución en la manera de ver TV online | DIRECTV GO
  8. OK. Thanks. What browser are you using?
  9. Anyone else having trouble connecting to https://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/serviciosVehiculares/adeudos?. I've tried three different browsers.
  10. I would first go to SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > MANAGE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS > choose the Clear Choice app and Clear Cache. Then unplug the Firestick for a couple of minutes and restart. If that doesn't work I would delete and re-install the Clear Choice App.
  11. That's a great device. I run a Nvidia Shield Pro. I love it because it has a Gigabit Ethernet port, and 2 built in USB 3 ports for expandable storage. You can even use it as a Plex Server.
  12. Yes I know. But the point is they are making things more difficult. I used to run Launcher Manager with Wolf Launcher as my default home screen. With the recent updates, this is no longer possible, but I can still do it on my Android OS. I'm not trying to s**t on the Firestick, it's a great device. Just wanted to let people know there are other great options in the same price range. In fact, on Amazon MX the Google device is priced lower than the 4K Firesticks.
  13. I'm not talking about having an Amazon account. I'm talking about access to developer options, such as allowing 3rd party apps etc. Also they are making it more difficult to change launcher screens to customize layouts and other other options. The Chrome device is functionally the same as far as performance goes, but it is more customizable.
  14. I would stay away from the Firestick. They were great a couple of years ago but the recent OS updates are making everything more proprietary to the Amazon ecosystem. I would recommend the Google Chromecast TV, or an Nvidia Shield if price is no object.

  16. I just use UnDosTres.com.mx. I understand people's desire to pay in person, but I'm lazy and prefer to pay all of my bill online.
  17. Anybody else? I've been using my Telcel Android phone as a wifi hotspot for about 7 hours. Works great. I get about 50Mbps download speeds.
  18. You're right, $250 is not a lot, but compared to a $40 streaming device...it is. Another plus for the Android device is they are designed just for streaming and not much else, so the graphics chips are optimized for current HDR offerings, such as Dolby Vision etc....which as far as I know, the Intel 500 graphics controller doesn't support. And there is an app on Google Play for BBC IPlayer, so I assume you can sign up on a streaming device. All streaming devices support browsers, so anything you can do on a PC (browsing wise) you can do on a streamer. It just seems odd to me to spend an extra $200 just to watch content over the internet, but hey, if it works for you....................
