Gotta be real careful on this one. One multi-color is harmless and the other, a coral snake, is deadly.

I've used Goodyear Chapala before. Any other recommendations?

Anyone having download spped problems with Telmex?
elevator replied to elevator's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Thanks, they need to come out I guess and take a look. -
After they ironed problems out putting in the fiber optics a few months ago I had 26 Mbps for a couple months, which was almost 20 Mbps more than I had ever gotten. The last few weeks it's stayed 8-12Mbps. Guess I need to call and see what's up, or down as the case may be. I live in Brisas and I believe there are a couple other folks here that do as well.

I've done the research and know all about the how and why. I've had two knees replaced and one ankle. I walk 18 holes 3 times a week. My shoulder needs replacing, but I'm not gonna think about it till I can't swing a club. I've had cortisone and it helps for a while, but has some negatives. Two good friends in the states had PRP with very good results. So no, I don't plan on getting a point and shoot from a quack, My post was to inquire if anyone knew a reputable provider. Guess not.

Thanks VL. I had heard good things from a couple of friends. Need it for my shoulder. Guess I'll ask my Orthopedist here.

Anyone had experience with it here or elsewhere?

We have lived in Brisas de Chapala for seven years and it is as peaceful a place to live as one could want. There are currently a couple of homes for rent I believe. It is 10 minutes to Chapala centro and 15 to Ajijic.

Seeking English-Speaking Plumber / Gas/ Electrician
elevator replied to Natasha's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Not touchy, just being informative. Well, I was in school at UGA my freshman year taking the grammar test in 1967. -

A website "Talking English" says both are acceptable, although "than I do" is correct formally. I wasn't being formal. And "methinks" is an archaic usage not acceptable for modern English. -

My guy Raul does it all and I've used him for several years. He's a family man and speaks English better than me. I had to take English 101 twice cause of that damn grammar test. 333 173 3160. Tell him Rafa recommended him. -
I have been quoted $23,00 pesos for a new hone UV water filter filtration system. Seems high to me. Most I've seen on Amazon are in the $300-$400 range, although all are out of stock. The guy says this is a system that has a backwash capability and the filters do not have to be changed. Anyone have any comments?

Brisas is changing because of so many new homes. But, hopefully the ambience and overall sense of peace and tranquility will continue. We lived in san Antonio for a while and it was nice, but Brisas is just different than just about anywhere I've seen in my eight years here.
