  1. Maybe the moral to these stories is we are buying to much and if we need to discard give the item away
  2. Harry, can you please explain in more detail about you organization. Is it 100o/o voluntary or does it receive any funds from the city. Is this program any way related to the group started by Tommy Thompson? What happened to that group? Thanks

  8. How sad, Todd was a "unique " person ,qualified , and selflessness worker to improve the lives of those living in the village, besides working with State and Federal government. If you have his obituary can you please post it
  9. If your primary importance is parking, ease of entry and exit, then Actinvet wins hand down. I have had good experiences with Intercam and Multiva, but sadly their parking spaces are limited. Best if you take a drive and see which one you can manage the parking space, or why not take a taxi If there is one big complaint about all the banks is their lack of parking period. Who knows maybe one of them will have a drive thru, but don't hold your breath
  10. Can you please explain, from a viable source , what and how do the politics of WM differ from S or S. Is it the pay, benifits...or maybe " perception ". We are fortunate to have the choice and selection of stores which many towns do not have. LET ME EDIT From a personal experience, when we were supporting a student through Guad University , he was able to get a part time job at WM, which also gave him health care benefits! he was happy as were we.
  11. I can never understand why restaurants expect to thrive with only very limited parking, backing out onto the main highway can be a nightmare
  12. Your experience with lack of evidence of Passport Stamp is interesting. I wonder what would have happened if you had boarded a flight from Guadalajara, via not using. MX City. MX City seems to operate differently to GDL, Onetime when I arrived into MX I did not have the bottom half of my departure from and given a long lecture on why I should have retained it.
  13. Really, I think many of us were here before the "yuppie" Tapitos and most of us do not leave trash behind, did I say invasion. Maybe you live mean and lean but my family as many other "foreigners". give back mucho in time, talent and dollar. If "they* feel I am a burden just kick me out. This foreigners their country is a lot of BS which you and fellow travelers keep pontificating is weird.
  14. Harry i think you are saying " to up grade the facility " But surely this will be completed at some point, or not..so what is your mission and goal?
  15. Considering Rolly died many moons ago, his references maybe out of date?Who is the latest go to for current information?
  16. Well I guess it's dat time of year to be invaded by hordes of Tapito's, we love you but......
  17. Perhaps you should send that information to the folks who are burning the Amazon forest, but it has to be in Portuguese.

  19. With respect my sister NOB has excellent Humans Insurance and most/ all her meds are generic equvliant
  20. I heard that Ann Scott has died, can anyone confirm that? Ann and Jim along with Loretta and Earl Smithburgh got involved with the San Juan Cosala feed program when the Mexican couple from the Raquect Club asked for help Jim was instrumental in getting the St Andrew's church mortgage paid off. A retired School Band Director, and played the mouth organ. Very kind and sincere people, hard workers for the church and SJC community. Earl died some time back but I think Loretta is still around, a very talented lady. Was organ and choir director at St Andrew's and played the organ at Catholic church in Aijic
