  1. Don't mean to butt in but if you are a newbie here, your need for a dehumidifier mystifies me.  Perhaps if you asked how to solve a problem you have, such as a wet area that you want to dry out, etc.  you will get answers that are better suited to this area than a dehumidifier.  As soon as the rainy season stops, the humidity here will start dropping significantly.  Just trying to help and don't mean to interfere.

Yo1, thanks for the suggestion (certainly no offense taken, and yes, I'm a newbie), We returned from Canada after 5 months and discovered mould on nearly everything in our house despite having people check up on the house periodically and air it out and I'm just going to try several methods to ensure that doesn't happen again, only one of which will be an auto-draining dehumidifier, along with more and improved venting an whatever else I can come up with. It's a new house and last year I had the roof resealed (again), and found some more cracks in the roof as well as some of the old cracks opening up again. Certainly that made the moisture problems in the house worse, but I figure the less humidity in the house the better whether we're here or not in my opioion.

Good thought; seems you are headed in the right direction. A new house shouldn't leak.  If cracks keep opening in your roofing material, perhaps there is a problem deeper in the roof.  You may have to strip off everything down to the concrete, seal that &/or patch it, then seal the roof.  Good luck!

  2. I drove my car for 5 years in Mexico WITHOUT a sticker at all.  Long story short, I was told I could get it in Guadalajara.  As you found out, it's not possible.  Just drive it to the closest border and surrender your sticker as you should have in the first place.  This will take that car off the Aduana records and you will be OK to import another car.  Your new husband can also import a car in his name.  Maybe you could even import another car with your new married name and a new passport number.

  3. I'm interested in any info you have on treatments for veins.  Thanks so much--Pat

  4. I'm glad chapala.com is up and running again because I am anxious to get info from you about where you found this particular pump and who you found to install it for you?

It's exactly what I need but I didn't know about this kind of pump.

Thanks for any info you can pass along--Pat

Good work, but if you say "9 am" and he says "9 - 9:30", make sure you say 9.
