Just tested my Telmex line and what do you know I am getting 3.00 and .31 exactly what I am paying for. They did something in the hood.

Hey they might have put a repeater/concentrator and a t whatever copper data line into your hood. I have seen no Fiber lakeside. Every since we had the Telecable outage cable and data in Las Salvias we seem to be much faster up here. Latency seems to be better. We do have a new thick cable hooked up with distribution network in Ajijic but all progress seems to come to a halt due to merger and Izzy buying mega and tele.  We are still on the old cable backbone but we can always hope!! Stay quiet about your speed or they will take it away LOL.
