La Cristina Park, Chapala for Jabs
Natasha replied to lakeside7's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Doubt that very much..... but if he does, he's NOT sayin' -
What a concept! I could have suggested that as soon as it was evident the "we'll phone you" protocol was a dead horse. Guad news this a.m. gave specific letter groups for each of the 7 days. Some days have more letters than others...... so they DO have computer geeks who can sort the registrations by appelido paterno/ numbers of people per letter and assign days accordingly. Would that not work for ALL areas? (Lesser days in lower pops. could have letters grouped in bigger bunches, but still sorted by concentration per letter.) Jrod you seem to have a pipeline to someone..... who maybe has a pipeline to another.... and so on, like it always is in Mexico. Maybe that suggestion could be passed along? 🙏

After learning of the LONG hours people, even if arriving really early, spent today (Tuesday) I'd really appreciate some feedback. My very elderly Mexican neighbour wants me to take him (and me as well) on Thursday 18th. But if wait times are what they have been reported for Tuesday from arrival to departure, he's too frail to tolerate the hours (and too proud to ask for in-home shot). So before we make Thursday plans a little knowledge would be a great thing.... the more the better. If still bad we can always wait until another round. Gracias!

Alfaro Announces Delivery of Pfizer Today (March 16th)
Natasha replied to Bisbee Gal's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
I wish!! But don't get your hopes up. Only the large cities are planned for Pfizer because they are the only ones who can arrange adequate COLD storage facilities at vacc sites. I'm sure you know Greater Guad is made up of several municipalities. So far they've 3 days in Tlaquepaque (last week) and this Mon - Wed are doing Tonala. (Both with total chaos....) Guadalajara and Zapopan municipalities as well as the other 3 (at least) have yet to even get started. -
Rich (Richie) Guarino Picked ours up, took it home to do the install, brought it back next day and spent over 2 hours with me teaching me all the steps, and the do's and dont's. All that for $500 pesos.... a BARGAIN ...and he is REALLY patient with techno-$%&/()s like me. FB Rich Richie OR RichInMexico cell 332 051 2398 email: Richg359@gmail.com And be advised, if he's with a person teaching them, he does not answer his cell. What a thoughtful difference! 🤩

That's the problem with being retired..... you NEVER get a day off!!!

Works every time. OR.... you might donate it to one of the charity consignment shops or a charity of your choice.

The deal will not go through IF ALLOWED until fall of 2022..... so Shaw users have time to seek other options. One is to get a Firestick and have Rich install it..... end of ANY dollars paid out for a kazillion options! (And the Firestick is workng better than our android box)

Thanks for this. Hope it's correct, as I've not seen these %ages and was quite worried about having this one over Pfizer. My doctor brother's response was "any port in a storm" ............ In greater Guad they are telling people who cannot stand to bring a chair. And people in Tonala this a.m. for their Day One (Guad TV news broadcast live) had shown up as early as 11:00 a.m. YESTERDAY 😱

Before that, you need to be sure you're going to get the $$ for the sale of the vehicle. In 2 cases buyers came armed with cash. In 3rd, buyer came having arranged to sent interbank transfer to our local bank. When we went to the bank to confirm money was there, then I was ready for the next step. And actually, as well as the title to the vehicle you're supposed to give new buyer ALL the tarjetas (little plastic cards for your wallet) and ALL the annual refrendo payment you've made, right back to day one!

In my experience, the machine itself limits the amount you can take when it's running out of money, so that more people can get at least "some". Since we have a "no fee" Canadian bank account we pay a largish fee per withdrawal on that end (over and above exchange) so I never opt for that and seek another machine instead. No idea if this is cause for what's happened to you recently.

In Search of Ambient Noise Recorder (Not Expensive)
Natasha replied to southland's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
The noise wherever you are was here before you came and it will be there when you leave. It's Mexico. Get over it! -
$$ sign on front, side, and rear window. Ph number. Price if you like. You can "paint" these on with liquid hite shoe polish OR make up a placard and tape to the inside of each window. I sold one car in 3 days by parking it outside our house (inside overnight). Another full crew cab pickup sold in one day.... same method. Third pickup required a little more work.... Put it on soloautos.com.mx and sold that way .

Ingredients on label. Quality, %age and source of protein / fat / etc. ORDER of ingredients..... largest amount is always first. Test at home with one dog who had a hard to time gain weight on a better quality food (and recommended by a friend whose dogs it eat). That dog liked it, but LOST weight. Google dog nutritional requirements and ingredient discussions re: same. Draw you own conclusions.

This food is MUCH cheaper per kilo when buying an 8 kg bag. But one cat cannot eat it in time to keep fresh and of good quality. If you have a cat with struvite crystals issues and are using this food, want to share a large bag? Price on Mercado Libre yesterday was $1,590 ($199/kg) while 3.5 kg bag (currently using) was $875($250 / kg) and up but that was a special promo and is probably already gone. If your cat has the problem and you are using a Hill's product, I've found my cat likes this one better (change approved by vet) and it's working well. Interested? Please call me 376-766-3580 for faster response, or reply via this board. I need to order by March 18 latest (happy to do sooner). Meow-chas gracias!
