  1. I think you would call it thin. The edges however are puffed up and absolutely yummmmmmy๐Ÿ˜Š. So glad to hear about the margarita. Will have one on our next visit
  2. We had a pizza and a salad there today and it was the best pizza we have had here. Top notch ingredients, really good sauce and enough if it, the crust was soooooo good! Yes, it took us about 3 or 5 minutes to find a parking but it wasn't any harder than many other locations. We will definitely have their pizza delivered by the delivery guys the next time we want delivery. They have a 10", 12" and 16". We ordered the 16" and it was $200 pesos.
  3. You might receive better help if you posted this in the correct form. This is for our furry friends.
  4. We had this same problem early in this year. One check going to bank in States and one to local bank here. It was solved very fast by emailing FBU as given by Bisbee Gal.
  5. Eric it seems you are miss reading the report. It says nothing about several nicks into the tumor. In fact, it says that all the margins appear to be clear. However some of the areas are very thin or narrow.... Nowhere does it say there are several nicks into the tumor.
  6. I, too, am very sad for your impending loss. We just recently lost one of our babies as well. That being said, I know you are very hurt and upset but I'm pretty sure every vet here does their very best. We were years at the Ladrone's until we were told there was nothing else to do but put our beloved pet down. We consulted Dra. Bernice and found our dog had been misdiagnosed. Dra. Bernice gave us about 5 more very happy years. When we were using Ladrone's, Dra. Bernice was not grooming. She was assisting with the surgeries. Gabby was grooming and she is now a vet and working with Dra. Bernice. I think I know how you feel because I wanted to blame Ladrone's for everything they put my dog and us through treating the wrong ailment. It took me a while but I have finally realized the Ladrone's did what they believed was right ... That no one is perfect ... The same thing happens with people doctors. Many of us here Lakeside have used several of the available vets and many have had good and bad experiences with them all. Today I would not hesitate to take my new family of 3 rescues to either Dra. Bernice or to the Ladrone's as I have come to understand they are both very loving, caring and competent vets. Again, I am so sorry you're having to go through this awful time.
  7. If anyone else wants to know it is August 8. American Legion 9::00 to 10:30 am and LCS 11:00 an to 12:30 pm
  8. Does anyone know the date and the U.S. Consulate will be Lakeside this month? We need to put our voter registration in the diplomatic pouch.
  9. We're in San Antonio Tlaycapan in Upper Chula Vista and we had small hail for a good while last night. Thankfully, no apparent damage but we were afraid it was going to break the skylights.
  10. Okay, Travis, would you rather talk about butter?๐Ÿ˜Š
  11. I will just be happy, Computer Guy, with someone with his own transportation and tools and a willingness to learn about plants and do the work of caring for them. The person I have now is not happy doing the pruning and winds up botching the job every time. I have had it and am tired of replacing plants and/or waiting for them to grow out again. I wish I could take care of the plants myself but my back says a definite NO!
  12. Would be very interested if he had tools. We do know that it is necessary to pay more for gardeners with transportation and tools.
  13. Our experience with high blood pressure problems is it has been better seeing a cardiologist. If you're interested in going that route there's a pretty good one at Quality Care. We, however, have opted to go to Guadalajara to Dr. Luis Virgen.
  14. I have the North American agreement with AT&T. It was great until about 2 months ago when my calls started being dropped. Right at this moment my phone is showing that I have only emergency service. This happens at all times of the day and evening. I have discussed this with the AT&T office and was told about a month ago that they had been working on the system and everything should now be fine. It wasn't and isn't. I will be going back to the office this week to see if I can get my money back for the year's service that I paid for in advance. ๐Ÿ˜”
  15. I posted the above recommendation for Juan. As it turns out Juan seems to know very little nor does he have much interest in learning or performing actual gardening when it comes to flowers and plantings. He is mainly a mow/blow/go guy but is very good at that part. Just don't want anyone to take my recommendation and think they are getting an actual gardener or even someone that is happy to learn how to take care of plants and flowers.
  16. Mainecoons, I tried to pm you but your inbox is full. Could you please let me know if this gardener is still available for one day a week for between 4 to 6 hours depending on his assessment of time needed? This would be for Upper Chula Vista and he needs to have his own tools and transportation.
  17. I have experienced several family members and clients who have had dementia of one type or other. To a person, they had a sense of humor until they couldn't. Humor is a stress reliever and is very much needed in these circumstances. Humor is also used as a coping mechanism for both the patients and their caregivers. It's also used to tap down the fear that many of us live with ... That we may wake up some day and find that what we thought was just normal old age isn't.
  18. Yes, you're right. I was just shocked at the amount of cocoa. However, I would suppose that if the recipe was on the cocoa box they would want to use as much of the product as possible.
  19. Fantastic!!! No smoking! We will give them another try this week ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  20. Goodness, 2/3rds cup of cocoa seems like an awful lot. I do have one icing recipe that calls for 3 tablespoons of cocoa and that is plenty chocolate enough for me. I like my cake plain also but my husband loves the icing .... Plus licking the bowl and spoon ๐Ÿ˜Š
  21. Did you ice the cake? If do you want to share the recipe for the icing? ๐Ÿ˜Š
  22. Lake Medical Center, Lydia, 766-2088; OxiReyes ... Don't have phone numbers; Also check with Vetteforron on this webboard. He and his wife have a nursing home and we have rented from them a couple of times. All of these will be rentals. You rent the electric frame and purchase the mattress. When finished with the bed you can sell the mattress or store it for future use.
  23. More Liana, sorry ... MY bad. I apologise as I was all wet and very confused. I was thinking about all purpose flour ... Not self rising flour that the op was asking about. Appreciate the correction but appreciate the recipe even more ๐Ÿ˜Š. Again, I apologise
  24. Oh my goodness!! Stupid me! Next time I want to make our favorite cake I will just go out and buy whatever white flour I can find and a little baking powder and a little salt and put all the other expensive ingredients in with it and hope for the best. Easy peasy.
  25. Just a precaution. There's products out there we probably all know about now where you force water in one nostril and out the other. The products all say to use distilled water. I would be a little concerned about using tap water because of bacteria.
