So 60 and over you die of starvation and have no money to send someone shopping because you can't go to the bank nor can you pay your utility bills or get medicine. This is crazy!

Good . I hope they enforce the face mask requirement. Maybe no going in any place without a mask. No essential business should allow you in without one

Maybe every time you need to leave go knock on their door and ask them to temporarily move their car so you can get out. After several times maybe they will get tired of moving their car and park somewhere else if possible

This is the fire season for our mountains. Maybe they are trying to protect the firemen From having to work during this virus. If they want you to stay out of the mountains they must have a reason. Buck up and do what they ask. Count your blessing ,you have a home, money coming in and not having to worry about how to feed your family. Things could be a lot worse!

At 9:30 this morning I went to both Maskara pharmacies and Express Pharmacy, all were closed. The only one I found open was Guadalajara Pharmacy. Is this the new norm for now?

I agree the temp. test really does not prove you are not positive but maybe it will stop people from coming here for the holiday

Bad idea . I think the pressure was put on some officials . Kind of defeats the purpose of distancing. There are enough fruit and veggie stands open, we don't need the tianguis

Walk down the Carretera in a Ajijic and observe , you will see that is not true here

I just handed out corona virus safety flyers to a bunch of veggie stores. Stores were packed, no masks, no gloves, no distancing. I agree, when this breaks out here it will spread fast.

I am glad they understand but many do not. Most of the local vegetable markets I shop at no one is wearing gloves or masks and the local shoppers all crowd in together . AlanMexicali, I am very happy your family is being safe.

Please educate your Mexican friends and neighbors! They truly do not understand.

bmh, sorry to hear you gave tourist in Chapala,. I sure hope they were in quarantine for 14 days. Those two countries are hot spots i personally feel all entry into the country should be stopped for 1 month. Just my opinion

They should stay home. I saw the gov't had asked gringos not to invite Americans and Canadians to come visit right now , it is common sense . No country needs tourist right now

Maybe not mandatory but you should not have to be forced to do what is right and safe. Just do it to saves someone's life
