  1. Who is bubba? Some sort of Texas redneck, hillbilly vernacular meaning what? "No one" is a lot of people. Or is "no one" related to bubba?
  2. Lot´s of lying SOB´s (and DOB´s) in the White House?
  3. A lot of people don´t care where you stand either, so I guess the question is…...who cares the less? You post your opinion as if it is fact, but if i want facts, i would be inclined to go elsewhere
  4. I believe you!...….But what´s that got to do with dogs in restaurants?
  5. I realize that. I was agreeing with him and responding to the quote further upstream about how the law is just interpretation. So therefore, do what you damn well want to do, because that´s the way YOU interpret it.
  6. "Mexican law seems to be interpreted by each person as they see fit" or some quote like that. A pretty low opinion of the country you are a citizen of, or living in...…..sad
  7. What´s with all these establishments serving up Swiss enchiladas, trying to capture all the Swiss bearded ones and their germs. ! Proxiamente ¡ Belgian enchiladas in a restaurant that allows dogs and beards. Woe is me...…..When will someone put a McD´s franchise Lake Chapala and end all this silliness.
  8. That´s why France decided to slice off Belgium and let them be their own country, a place for all the, dogs in restaurants lovers, could have a colony of their own.
  9. Wouldn´t the area where you are dining, be an area where food is received? Most back bars are in plain sight of the dining area and not in some obscure location on the premises. Why not take them (dogs) to movie theaters, churches, grocery stores, schools from kinder to university, and a lot of other places that are public venues. Just allow dogs anyplace and anywhere. Get real Rony and leave your dog at home or with a sitter along with other personal items from your home, you wouldn´t take to these places. Show a little consideration for other people who don´t want to dine with dogs. Go home and eat with your dog.
  10. Since my post was the one immediately preceding yours…………... I wasn´t asking for anything, just telling.
  11. I am on my third set after two failures and getting pretty good results. The brand is Rexton, German made i believe.
  12. And neither have I. Had comida with the family today at El Italiano on Golfo de Cortez, place was packed and not a dog in sight, nor any of the other hundreds of times i have eaten in restaurants in GDL. This is a foreign import we can definitely do without. The only reason that i can see for a wall or closing the border. I have a large family of children and grandchildren that live GDL, and they cannot believe this business of old foreigners dragging their dogs into restaurants out here. It is appalling to them, especially on one occasion after I had taken them to comida here, when a dog had urinated in the baño at Cocinart, taken there by it's owner. The owner of the restaurant wasn´t responsible for that action, but had allowed the dog in the establishment.
  13. Because it is against the law…...scofflaw….you know, like prohibited.
  14. Mexican Bendix was a loose translation I had heard.
  15. The problem is, most foreigners don´t know how to deal with mordida seeking transitos or they complain about being abused and harassed even when even caught wrongdoing, so the Vialidad jefes pull in their horns when it comes to enforcement. Whatever they do, it will be wrong to a lot of the foreign community. I try not to be too judgemental or disturbed about the "mordida" practice here, as it is almost as engrained in the culture, as the Spanish language.
  16. In Mexico, when using a retorno , which is always a left turn, you stay in the left lane of the retorno, whether in Chapala, or on any highway. It´s like the people who consistently use the right hand lane to turn left onto the Carretera from Independencia in SAT, next to the licorería, when leaving the Superlake area, which is a one way street heading north onto the Carretera. If you are going to turn left there, stay in the left lane, don´t cross over to the right lane to turn left. I know it´s not a perfect world, especially when it involves common sense.
  17. So what? You didn´t lie to me. I´m older than you and proud of it!!!
  18. Neither did witchcraft.....imo.
  19. No 1/2 off for all Mexican citizens in the Municiipio of Chapala as there is a cap on tercer edad descuentos. In some cases the early payment discount is better and you can't have both.
  20. If you can get the poster on this board named "my home sweet home", who also lives in Chapala Haciendas, to come a take a look, and is convinced, then I will buy in also.
  21. This is building up to the crescendo of zombie movies and wheelbarrows. I can feel the excitement in the air. . It will be a race to see who makes the first contact, Maybe milk and cookies for bait? My Nan used to leave a jug of poitin (whiskey) on the front step at night to draw in the leprechauns, and it worked because the jug was always empty the next morning when she did it. Only in Chapala.........
  22. Is that why you go over to Vancouver Island?.....looking for aliens? LOL. BTW....Sasquatches are not aliens on that island.
  23. I thought Santorini was owned by Pepsi...Bonafont too?
  24. Maybe you are getting the "animalito" discount.
  25. has not set their status
