Re the delivery status of an item on Amazon it order not shown as delivered, I then click this link Ver todas las actualizaciones which is found under Se envio con etc
Se envió con Estafeta
ID de seguimiento: 001589050861A601883986
Ver todas las actualizacionesNote - when checking shipping status, I always check that link for accurate info. Most of my orders are delivered the day after arriving at Pacific

when you use a US Credit/Debit Card in Mexico, the US entity - eg bank - usually wants an exact match for the zip code - so if you get rejects, check out the zip codes

I have a US credit card for my Amazon Mx Account. No problem. They continue to let me spend money.
I have a US credit card for my Roku TV and do stream Amazon. Amazon requires a Mexican credit/debit card for movies on my MX Roku TV - so cannot watch any movies that require payment as don't want to share my Mx debit card info with Amazon.. Just as well I guess. Saves me money.

lexy you may be able to file a complaint with the consumer protection agency. I can't find an absolute yes or no for an ATM dispute - but probably worth the time to file a complaint - https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

BTW -- The machines at HSBC (next to Black Coffee) are also notorious.
I used the atms at HSBC next to black coffee - so far no problems - but what ATMs do you recommend?

Have you noticed that some posters read the first few words or only the last few words of a post and then....add their very poor advice about the previous post...and then admit that they didn't catch the part about.....the real post?
Read Lakeside's book about being wrong 97% of the time with the forward by Gringal and you'll catch the drift or not!

does the reader get the total blame? Perhaps the writer deserves some too
We - the readers - tend to more or less gulp online information. And sometimes the online writers really do not write gulpable information.Studies have shown that many online readers really may not read well.
- Example: Many studies have shown that when people read on-screen, they don't understand what they've read as well as when they read in print. Even worse, many don't realize they're not getting it.
So perhaps the writer should write more simply
If you look at style manuals - like Strunk and White - there are rules for writing for readability. On paper.
There are different style manuals for writing online - as people read online differently than they read something on paper.
If you look at successful websites like Amazon, you will see that "they get it." The newspapers also have to "get it" to stay in business.
Many of us learned how to write - on paper. Online is a different world. Keep sentences short. Keep paragraphs short. Just one train of thought per paragraph. And your reader may read better!!!

Thanks. We prefer outside.
Natacion is an outside pool. Acuatica is indoors . Last I checked Natacion had a waitlist but much shorter than Acuatica for lap swims. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076153650983

American Express, and Fidelity Investments both see the Laredo address as a mail drop and require a Physical address, but will use the Laredo address as the mailing address on those accounts. My Capitol One has not asked for a different address as yet.
Fidelity & Capital One both want a USA cell for texts or return calls.
Mostlylist are you using handy mail or ishop?
And have a us number on my mx cell using magic jack and express vpn. So far no problem but not all texts go thru but calls work fine
-
I had capital one refuse to take my handy mail address
Has anyone had recent success with ishop for a capital one credit card?
I know they are both commercial mail addresses and most banks want a residential address for recourse

Magic Jack is VOIP Many services, banks, brokerage, etc. will not text or call a VOIP number. More are joining the no VOIP every Month.
So far no problem except texts don't work well but so far they also have a phone call option. Thx for info on the VOIP club.
I have found they are also cracking down on commercial mail addresses such as handymail - and won't accept them - and still have not found a work around as friends address not an option

Thanks Alpha1. Will go there.
Had an interesting experience with those guys - actually a very good one for mexico. I had a bunch of keys made ealier this year - maybe 8 different ones and most didn't work when i got home. So went back and one of the guys said he would come home with me to fix - and he hopped into my car and came to my house and fixed each one.
