  1. On Sunday November 5th, the guard at El Dorado reported that a dog had been hit by a speeding car on the Libramiento.

I took him to the vet for stitches and am taking care of him until his owner can be found...or an adoptive home.  He was  wearing a collar but had no identification.

"Spot" (as I call him) is a short-haired  young male (~2 y/o?), and ~ 30 lbs.  He is white with black patches and has a loving temperament.

I've posted on several social media platforms but have had no response yet.

If anyone can provide a good home for Spot, please text me @ (503) 333-3024.  (please do not call)

    Thanks a lot,

    Donna S.

Cannot recommend doing either of those in any safe or cost effective way.

What is the reason?    If CFE costs are high and you like the electric appliances, adding solar panels with a net metering system is easy and really cost effective, particularly if in DAC tarifa level or near it.

Feel free to PM or email to discuss in more detail.

I live in a high rise condo and we cannot install solar panels here for individual apartments (sniff!).    I'm wanting to install an "on demand water heater" to replace my old electric one.   Thanks for any other ideas you might have!

  4. I've been hearing what seems to be a chorus of cicadas from time to time.   Have they hatched out here in  large numbers yet?     The Unites States is expecting  "plague" of them this summer, starting on the East coast and moving West.   Can anyone confirm that the hatch-out of cicadas has happened  in our area already?

    Thanks!
