Be aware that there is a delay in receiving your passport. My wife sent in her renewal in January and it took 9 weeks. From reports in the U.S. it can take up to 3 months. Even if you pay the extra processing fee for expedited delivery it could still be 6 weeks.

It took about 4 weeks for mine to come back...
FYI: The FedEx office in Ajijic does not sell the return labels... I used I mail and that worked...
It took 9 weeks for my wife's to come in. If you are in a hurry look into paying the extra fee for expedited service.

+1 My go to place for chicken. Never been disappointed. Don't know where they get their chicken from but they always seem to be larger than elsewhere.

And where did you buy this miracle dream cooker?
Got it from Amazon Mx. I got the Instant Vortex Plus 6. Cosori is also a good brand, also from Amazon.

Recently bought a new air fryer and I must say that I've fallen in love. I've been using it almost every night and quite a few mornings. So far I've done fish, shrimp, chicken, and breakfast sandwiches. The recipes are simple, quick and economical as well as healthy. You use very little oil, I use avocado oil also. There are hundreds of recipes on YouTube, I've barely scratched the surface.
The chicken that I've prepared has the crunchiest skin and the juiciest meat that I've ever had. I made coconut shrimp the other night and it cost me 39p for enough shrimp for my wife and I. I could go on and on but I think you can see how excited I've gotten. I've gone from fixing a meal maybe twice a month to almost every night. Any other converts out there?

Total bust for me there..... limited choices if you need white and I have no option.
Anyone have Guad recommendations? Thinking of Home Depot but don't want to make a trip for nothing. And yes, I will get to Amazon and MercadoLibre later today with luck tho' I'd kind of like to talk to a real person before making a decision!
I'm assuming you did check upstairs at the store in Riberas? We also checked out Home Depot before we bought our fans and ended up getting them at Illumina y Decora. They had at least 2 or 3 different styles in white at the time. Also don't always go by what they have on display as light kits and remotes can be added.

We've used the mattress store next to HSBC and across from Walmart. Good and reasonable are pretty subjective terms. They carry Sealy mattresses and several other brands. When they delivered our new mattress they took the old one away.

So is it 10:00 to 6:00 or 11:00 to 6:00?

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Barragan since he had his small office in Chapala, wouldn't go to anyone else. As to Dra. Ruvalcaba I had 2 molars removed last month by her and couldn't believe how fast and painless it was, you'd be in good hands.

Thanks for the replies. This is a legal well. I'll wait awhile for things to settle before we have the water tested.

Our fracc. just opened a new well and the water that is coming out is murky. I'd like to know what we're getting. Where would be the best place to go to get it checked?
-
My personal favorite is Herreria Tempisque. He's done a lot of work for me, but as stated before since he is good the wait might be longer.

My wife just had an appointment there yesterday. She is a cancer survivor and had her operation there 5 years ago. As with all things IMSS patience is required. On more than one occasion we have had appointments scheduled and then upon showing up on that date we're told that the doctor isn't there.
The hospital itself looks fairly new compared to others that I've been in. For some reason the elevator to the upper floors seems to be out of service more than it should for a hospital.
Don't expect an IMSS hospital to compare with a hospital in the states or the more expensive ones in Guadalajara. Be prepared for more people and the resulting problems that incurs.

My wife and I drove up to Az in August and then back down 2 weeks later going through Nogales. No problems at all unless you don't take into account a flat tire and almost hitting a horse. We stayed in Navojoa.
As mentioned always try to stay on the cuotas.

I have had stomach problems more times than I care to remember.
But one thing I have learned is that it is not always the last place you may have eaten. It usually takes some time for a stomach ailment to rear its ugly head. So chances that it was Pancho's are slim.
I understand you feel like crap. But I think posting this is harmful. You may be disparaging Pancho's improperly. Ask friends and others privately. Speak directly with Pancho privately. But to post it like this could do harm when none was deserved.
Just my opinion.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately where I live it would be very hard to find someone who had eaten at Pancho's. That's the reason that I posted here, to find out if others might have been affected that day. I would hesitate to confront Pancho without additional facts.
It was a difficult decision to make to post on here. I don't like to jump to conclusions without facts, but without asking how does one get those facts. In the end it came down to public safety.
We love Pancho's, will continue to shop and eat there. I regret if this post has offended anyone.

Would be great! Is it on one of the laterals of Lazaro Cardenas?
Yes. Just after you leave the mercado heading back to Chapala.

I haven't seen anyone mention it here yet. We went to Mercado de Abastos today and on the way back home noticed that they are building a new Home Depot about 2 blocks east of the Mercado. Always nice to combine trips.
