  1. My modem needs to be replaced. And, it takes me 30 minutes to get to TelMex. Just asking if it is possible to get a new modem there just by walking in - or should I call TexMex myself? Thanx!
  2. OldWEB - YES!! This was a very dangerous large hive of bees. The bomberos (or Civil something) came out within an hour - in the dark - and sprayed the nest with their hose and my soap. Wonderful guys and I tipped them for their help. The hive was located in one of my palm trees and must have been there for a long time w/o being noticed. I have horses and it was close to their yard. The first telephone number worked and they said they would be right out! Kudos!!!
  3. I need the telephone number for Bomberos to get rid of a HUGE bee nest next to my horses. I was told they are the worst type of bee. I live in San Nicolas.
  4. No time frame, but not next year. California plates.
  5. Rick, it is a 1972 Custom Cab 250. Yes, it's a 1/2 ton. I need to know the price if you are interested. Thank you.
  6. Does anyone know of a company which would transport my truck to Texas? Dallas or Corpus Christi?
  7. I need an upholster for my classic truck!
  8. Last year was a difficult one for me. But, with the help of Ricardo Mendosa (331-296-6578) and his wife Corina, I made all my doctor/hospital appointments in Guadalajarra on time and with smiling faces. Ricardo speaks excellent English and is available when you call him. He has rental cars and a good-size truck for moving. He only operates within Mexico. Please call him if you need anything!
  9. We also found a verrrrry small baby swallow pushed out of the nest. Yes, they do eliminate the weakest. But - after finding the dead opossum on my balcony - killed by my cats - I don't think that's the problem. My cats just found their nest. I finally gave him water. Found some other bugs - he just hides in the corner under the towel. Won't eat. Just think there's no help out there.
  10. I have four big dogs and five cats - it's too late to call my vet - I tried to give him water from a dropper, but he won't open his mouth. Put a piece of apple in with him and some cat food. He just hides under part of the towel. Found a dead possum on balcony, which my cats most likely kill. I Googled lots of info - but he's only four to five inches long - so very young. Have no idea where the Mother is - but she comes in nightly to my barn to eat the cat food. I hate just waiting for him to die!
  11. Mudgirl - The house cats don't get along with the barn cats - thus, I have no place to put them. I have read that once the baby is away from the mom, she will not reunite with the baby. Good idea though - thank you. I finally got some water down the baby with an eye dropper - he is stubborn and won't open his mouth for me. We have put in bugs, apple, cat food, cabbage, lettuce - he just hides under the towel. The water should help her. He is pretty strong and hasn't tried to bite me. But still, very young. Appreciate your care.

  14. Is there a possum "rehabilitator" around here? This baby is around four inches long (w/o tail). I need help saving the little one.
