  1. If all else fails, you can obtain a "constancia de domicilio" proof of address certificate from Chapala city hall. That works for residents who do not have their name on billing documents connected with their home.

  5. Contact Miguel @ 333351 2720. What's app. Sprockets is an IPTV supplied locally. I find it very susceptible to fluctuating telmex. It freezes continually and at other times never flinched. Inconsistent to say the least. Wondering as well which iptv jrod is talking about.

  6. Our LL has all his ( many) properties in his own name, so not a go for us. But even SAT accepted TP when we got hub's new RFC no. last year, as did INE when we had to renew our cards last summer

  7. Not sure why you don't want to use your Telmex bill. You may want to reconsider that decision. Do you pay property taxes? If yes, are both names on the receipts? Are both names on your car refrendo receipts? Do you buy propane? If yes, have them put name and address on the receipt. Do you have a Mexican bank account? If yes, use a current statement with names on it.

  8. No. Disagreeing with the 'well said' relating to the 'tested for explosives' and 'put through the wringer' and 'part of a training exercise' Post suggesting this is a 'most likely happen' situation for TSA in the US. It isn't. My opinion of course... as was your 'well said'.

  9. Are you disagreeing that: " In Mexico, if you are disabled you will be treated extremely well."?

  10. I agree that Mexico treats disabled AND elderly, with a high degree of respect.

  11. Yes. You cannot get a chair on request when you arrive at airport. I've no idea about other countries, but in Mexico the guys pushing the chairs rely on tips and get no other salary. Treat them as well as they do you, which IMO / experiences is exceptional. Not knowing about other places I've always tipped there too, but never treated as well as Guad airport.

  15. We have IPTV (your can subscribe on your own, if you want to cut out a provider) and love it, except that under most circumstances we cannot record. However, since we have all the broadcast channels on it, we can go to another affiliate and watch the programming at that time. Series show under the "Series" icon and new episodes post sometime after air time (seems to depend on the show, sometimes a week later, if you want to catch up or binge. We also pay separately for Netflix and Prime, so we don't miss anything we want to watch.

  16. I would recommend you request a wheelchair at time you book your ticket. Wheelchair services vary depending upon the airport you use from bad, dismal and good. Plenty of chairs but no pushers. I would rank Guadalajara as good. The other side benefit is you fast track the long lines. Go for it, but make a request beforehand.

  19. That seems strange to me as at least 4 homes in Brisas de Chapala, in the same price range, sold for around 75000 to 100,000 US more than the homes that sold here a year earlier. When I looked at the MLS for our fraccionamiento in December 2022, I was amazed to see the elevated prices on the homes from previous listings. Nothing really selling right now, boom is over IMO, at least for now.
