  3. La Pueblita was advertised, as I remember , as an aging in place development. It doesn't seem like this is what it is going to be. There are so many planned apartment buildings and new developments selling lots. If they sell, even to snowbirds, it is going to be extremely congested here. I won't even mention the effect on the infrastructure.

  4. I guess my solution is to forget about consignment shops just donate the stuff . God only knows we gringo's must be the "super rich" in the community, and still unwilling to let go of material "stuff" which has a small percentage of value within our "estate" compared to the majority of Mexican Nationals in the community we live , the majority who live from one pay day to the next

  5. And maybe some of us had a good reason to take stuff..... like I could not tolerate the brand new shoes (correct size) because my feet said so.

  6. Maybe the moral to these stories is we are buying to much and if we need to discard give the item away

  8. Actually, the fiber optic cable is thinner than the previous cable, so you should be able to fit it in the existing hole. They drilled a new hole in my wall just to make their installation easier, more directly toward my modem. Saved them a lot of time and effort. You can actually see the fiber cable on the outsie wall entering into the house. Hope this helps.

  10. Umm, all spam is automated. Unregistered users can post, or can self-register and post immediately? A CAPTCHA should fix that. In any case, other users of the same (somewhat dated) forum software will be seeing the same spam, so see what they're doing about it. LQ

  12. Informador on line. However, just looked again (same site) and in few hours "newer" story they're saying it may be tabled again in September.

  15. I agree sometimes the phone option can be frustrating. But don't forget.... if you have a TP account you can always sign in and do an on-line chat.... where you can opt for an English speaker. Sometimes their written English isn't the best, but it's never bad enough that you don't understand them

  18. With all the discussion going on about the pros and cons of living at Lakeside, bad inferstrure, water shortage, congestion, lack of public services, etc etc, I would see the many negative observations as signs to "move" on... But where to?or are all this cons perceptions? Is the sky falling in?
