I don't think age matters when you had as many serious medical issues as he had.

Most of those in the underground economy are independent contractors similar to my gardener and housekeeper. If they want me to register them for SS, they also need to understand that the govt. will want SS fees from every employer. Not a problem for me and the few hours they work. But then the govt is going to want taxes from all the money the employee makes and their take-home pay will take a hit. I don't know how much but my gardener said he will figure it out at home before he makes a decision to decline or not. I doubt that more than a few will want the govt to know their business and for the same govt to have more money available for graft and nepotism.

A new option was added in IOS 16 purportedly to allow faster phone backup uploads to iCloud using LTE or 5G. The problem is that the new option defaults to the ON position meaning your phone might decide to initiate a backup when you're not connected to wifi. Yesterday I got a text from Telcel saying my cell data was all used up and that of course I could purchase more. My data was reset about a week ago at the end of the billing period so this option drained a month's worth in one week. If you upgrade (iPhone 8 and up only), check this option before you get surprised.

This is a first class addition to our medical community. Dr Moya and his assistants render excellent care. My wife was having an episode of heart pain and was referred by our primary care doc to Doctor Moya, who examined her immediately, determined that she had a blockage of a coronary artery needed a stent. He had his assistant personally transport her to a specialty cardiac hospital in Guadalajara, where she had a surgical intervention the same day. She had an excellent surgical outcome and supervised recovery program. No one could ask for better care than she received.

And if I had done as planned and put this up even a very few days ago we might have. 😢 If anyone personally knows " Mrs. Pedro" I would appreciate an expression of condolence to be given to her. He had a long and most unpleasant trip at the end and it must have been terrible for her to witness, knowing there was nothing she could do..... and now she's alone. RIP friend.
