In the past few days my Telmex Internet has been on and off as never before. It usually is reasonably reliable; but getting worse in the past year. Starlink is looking like an option if things don't get better. I know of a couple of friends that have it and they are more than happy with the system.

Currently, TotalPlay is the most reliable with both the best speed offerings and outstanding customer service. Had my fill of cable, Telmex and iLox. TotalPlay rocks imho.

Intel is changing the branding on their processor chips
Ferret replied to Ferret's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Whatever works for you. I was getting desperate and looked at new but choked on the prices. The SSD (500 GB) works like a charm and is all I need. I have all my photos and all my music discs on it and a mountain of books. Still have 300 GB to play with. More than happy. -

Respectfully Amiga; I'm in Rick's camp. Regardless the processor, a SSD (solid state drive), boots up amazingly fast, compared to the older style HDD drives, however there is always a tradeoff in life: https://www.pcmag.com/news/ssd-vs-hdd-whats-the-difference Boot-up with a SSD still amazes me, but it isn't a result of the cpu speed.
