WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Getting old, infirm and being without adequate financial resources can be the final indignity of life. There aren’t many services here for the elderly in those circumstances. Casa de Ancianos is the only non-profit home for the elderly, and is a safe port in a storm for those of limited, or no, means. This cold winter has challenged the facility even more than usual, and upgrades are sorely needed, from caulking, to window replacement, electric consumption mitigation, etc.

The goal is to raise enough money to buy a solar water system, thus taking the stress off our huge water bills, put in new electric meters to reduce the high cost and rebuild one edge of the Men’s Building, which has sunk.

We need VOLUNTEERS for our Yard Sale, Saturday & Sunday, March 14 & 15 from 10 a.m. until ?? in the Super Lake rear parking lot in San Antonio.

Volunteers are needed to collect donations and provide drop off locations for donations. We will pick up donations or give you a drop off site. American Legion, 114 Morelos, Chapala is accepting donations. Also look for the big truck parked on the carretera with sign, directly across the highway from Super Lake. We need more donations! Please DO NOT take donations to the Casa. There is no storage there.
