LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
I am disappointed in your editing. The piece “courtesy of Elaine Partnow” (March issue) “It is called spin, folks” is a much used internet slur of primarily left-leaning politicians by the right. It was used against Hillary in the primaries. The picture referred to is actually Black Jack Ketchum, a horse thief. This same intro “Judy Wallman a professional genealogist...” was used to claim Al Gore’s relative was a horse thief, etc.
The most recent victim of the exact same slur is a leader of one of the more liberal Canadian political parties: Stephen Dion; his ran in Dec 2008.
