El Ojo del Lago

This is for my new friend Mirella Chacon Crose, who loves Ajijic and has posted many beautiful photographs of this lovely village on Lake Chapala, some 30 minutes south of Guadalajara. I used to live in Ajijic. I spent a year there in 1962-63, then returned for three months every summer during the next nine years. I had many friends in Ajijic and spent some wonderful times there, and shot lots of pictures. I have taken some of Mirella's pictures as well as some of her friends and relatives pictures (their's are in color) and followed each with one of my older black-and-white photos, just to show that many things have changed over the past fifty years, and many things have not.
